Our Story
Growing alongside McKinney
As McKinney grows, so do the needs and possibilities of its libraries. The McKinney Public Library Foundation was created to help ensure our library system can continue evolving—reaching more people, enriching more lives, and creating opportunities that extend far beyond the library walls.
Through the dedication of volunteers, community partners, and generous donors, we help turn meaningful ideas into lasting resources. Every program supported, collection expanded, scholarship awarded, and improvement made reflects a shared commitment to keeping knowledge, connection, and discovery within reach for everyone.
Your support becomes part of that story. It helps our libraries respond to the needs of today while building toward a stronger, more accessible future for generations of McKinney residents
