The McKinney Public Library Foundation holds monthly meetings which are open to the public. The next meeting is Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at the John and Judy Gay Library at 6:30 PM. We would love to have you join us!
Registration is open for the second McKinney Literary Fest! The Fest will take place on August 23-24, 2025 at the new McKinney City Hall. The Literary Fest is an annual celebration of local North Texas authors. Registered authors will be able to display and sell their books. In addition, there will be panels and readings. George Getschow is our keynote speaker for Saturday; Lyndsey Lewellen will discuss writing YA and science fiction on Sunday. In addition, there will be a meet and greet for the authors at Tupps Brewery on Saturday, August 23rd at 4:00 PM. For a list of additional authors and to register, visit the Literary Fest page.
The final chapter of summer fun celebrates fiction and fantasy. Step into a world of magic, myths, and adventure as we explore legendary tales, fantasy-inspired challenges, and mystical crafts and activities. Cosplay as your favorite fantasy character is encouraged.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF ANNUAL MEETING
McKinney Public Library Foundation is pleased to announce its Annual Meeting which will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd at 6:30 PM. The location will be the Bailey Room at John and Judy Gay Library. The public is invited to attend the meeting where MPLFs Annual Report will be presented. In addition, new Board members and officers will be elected.
