On July 9th, Amanda Eyre Ward will be discussing her new release, Arrivals and Departures. Arrivals and Departures features characters from Ward’s bestselling novel The Jetsetters. This will be an evening event.
On Wednesday, July 29th celebrate the release of Shari Lapena’s latest thriller, Getting Away with Murder! at a lunchtime event.
JUST A FEW TICKETS LEFT FOR THE VIP EVENT!
New York Times bestselling author Riley Sager will be joining us for the release of his newest novel, The Unknown. This will be an evening event. There are still a few tickets for the VIP event but the discussion and Q&A at 7 PM is sold out. Your VIP ticket includes the 7 PM author discussion along with food and a signed copy of Riley’s latest book which releases August 4th.
A huge thank you to everyone who made Lit Fest 2026 a huge success! Library staff, all the volunteers, Neighbor Books, and, of course, our local authors were all amazing. The Foundation had lots of happy winners! The event has Larry’s paw print of approval.

McKinney Public Library Foundation is pleased to announce its Annual Meeting which will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd at 6:30 PM. The location will be the Bailey Room at John and Judy Gay Library. The public is invited to attend the meeting where MPLFs Annual Report will be presented. In addition, new Board members and officers will be elected.
