The McKinney Public Library Foundation is proud to sponsor a merit-based scholarship program to local high school seniors to support our area’s continued educational achievement. Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, we will be awarding two $1000 scholarships.

Scholarship Requirements:

• Public, private, trade, charter, or home school senior student

• Twenty (20) hours of volunteer service in the McKinney Public Library System

• Letter of recommendation from library staff

The selection of scholarship recipients is a joint effort between the MPLF Board and McKinney Public Library System staff. Please contact mplfboard@gmail.com for an application.

All applications and letters of reference must be submitted no later than March 15, 2026.
